Drum Cover Uno!
HELLOOOOOO (says the girl who hasn't been on her blog in a LONG time) I'm finally back! I wanted to share a NEAT-O youtube link that contains my very first drum cover! I can't believe I have a video! (Technically I have a couple more buuut I have this first one for now) A long time ago it stemmed from people trying to encourage me to make drum covers to which I replied, "Nahhhh I'm not good enough" or "I'm not as good as my favorite Youtube drummers (Cobus, Luke Holland, Lindsay Ward)." I think I finally decided to take the step after registering for VidCon this July and thinking that since I'll be learning about Youtube Creator stuff, I should probably invest my time and skills into something that will allow me to continue playing the drums outside of a church setting (because there hasn't been any need for me to play the drums at a church anymore, but don't get me wrong, I LOVE playing worship songs too!) I've also really been missing playing on my drum set so this is a good way to keep in touch with them!
Last weekend we went to the studio to record and it was so fun and thankfully I didn't take 100 hours like I thought I was going to! I'm so thankful and blessed to have Justin helping me with this, not only when it came to filming and video editing (which I don't know how to do), but also when it came to encouraging and supporting me during the several times I doubted myself that this would work. I'm also very thankful for my family and friends that have also supported me too!

I'm hoping to release a video each month and I'm also thinking of a new set of songs to cover! Any suggestions?? :)
PS: Thank you to SDRL Recording Studio in San Diego for recording me! Brad is super awesome and super chill and all my recordings sounded great!! Definitely going to go there next time!
PS DOS: DEFINITELY check out Justin's new cover of "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran! It is AMAZING I love it so much (and I'm not just saying that!)
